Origins
Surveying has been important since the beginning of civilization. The first applications were in measuring and marking boundaries of ownership. As the population of the world expands, the importance of measuring and monitoring the environment has increased. Nowadays, surveyors make use of modern technologies to measure the Earth on a global basis. Surveying has been a crucial activity in the development of the United States since its origins. Four of our presidents were Land Surveyors.
About Our Company Founder
Julio Rodriguez
Land surveying has been my passion all my life; being the child of a surveyor, I went to the field at an early age, apprehending the concepts and fundamentals of the profession. This experience gave me the knowledge to do calculations, develop programs and draw engineering or topographic drawings in an old fashioned way, but also prepared me at that time for the oncoming era of the computers.
Later, I went to the University del Valle ,in Colombia, and got my bachelor in Civil Engineering Sciences. When I migrated to the United States, it was my goal to become a professional Land Surveyor and Mapper to honor my father's teachings and be able to do what has been my passion: Surveying!
Our Mission, His Vision
My vision is to become an excellent professional and build a company, country wide, capable to offer land surveying services in the areas of engineering, construction and real estate. Using the current technology, a protocol of quality assurance, and to give our clients an excellent product in a timely manner.
Our mission is to give our clients the best of our knowledge and expertise delivered in the products and services that we offer, acting as a guardian of the principles and good practices of the profession. This attitude will contribute to the satisfaction of our clients and the preservation of the heritage left by all those surveyors that loved and worked for the development of this great country.
